BCLC National Conference: Corporate Citizenship and America’s Future
From philanthropists to social innovators, the business community continues to create meaningful and sustained impact in our communities. You and your employees know about the great things you do, but wouldn’t it be great if that awareness went national?
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) [2] has a number of tools and tactics to help businesses heighten awareness of the ways they make a difference in communities, both in the United States and in developing countries.
From April 16-18, an array of national thought leaders from the business community and civil society will address the positive ways business makes a difference at BCLC’s National Conference in Atlanta. Keynote speaker Daniel Hendrix, CEO of Interface Inc., will present the company’s strategy for success—making investments that are both good for the environment and long-term growth.
The conference will also include short, but lively presentations by small business social innovators, as well as in-depth discussions about the economies of inner cities, support for military veterans, health and wellness, education, the environment, and community development.
Please see the conference website [3] for the full agenda and additional conference information.
